Wanderer’s first step

Ever since I started traveling and meeting new people, observing new cultures, differences and similarities between them, their lifestyle and habits, I always planned to write my observations and share with those who are interested.

It took me quite some time to gather my thoughts, and experience together to begin sharing. To find my way and how to express myself.

Once I got all my courage to start writing, I found myself in a dilemma: which language to use?

My mother tongue – Azerbaijani?  Or my most frequently used language – English? Being lost in choosing the language, and trying to write in both languages eventually created more difficulty in my mind, rather than motivating me to move forward.

I did not keep writing in that copy book. Of course this was not the only time I tried. More note books came. More blog pages were created. But failure kept creeping along in my face.

They say: If there is a will there is a way. If this does not work, then use your own proverb: if there is someone supporting you, motivating you, then there is always a way.

My writer husband, Omar Kamal, (his blog: helped me, supported me and motivated me as usual, to bring all my experiences together and share them with you along with the photos from my gallery.

Stay tuned 🙂
